Windows Vista or Higher

If you want to upgrade your Windows operating system to Windows Vista or higher, you must read the following carefully.

Before upgrading to Windows Vista or higher, it is important that you unregister ShareChart first.

After upgrading to Windows Vista or higher, please download the following two files to the ShareChart folder on your computer (normally C:\Program Files\ShareChart unless you specified otherwise).

• StoReg.exe
• StoUpgrade.exe

To download one of the above files, follow the steps below.

1. Click one of the above links, a File Download dialog box will appear. Select Save this file to disk and click the OK button.
2. A Save As dialog box will appear. Click the Save in dropdown box and select Local Disk (C:).
3. Double click Program Files then double click ShareChart and then click the Save button.
4. A confirmation box with a message like C:/Program Files/Sharechart/StoReg.exe already exists. Do you want replace it? will appear. Click the Yes button to replace the old file.

Repeat the above steps to download the other file.

Once the two files are downloaded to ShareChart folder, you must register first and then perform online upgrade.

To register, go to Start >> All Programs >> Sharechart >> Register, fill your details, and click Register button.

To upgrade online, go to Start >> All Programs >> Sharechart >> Upgrade. Accept all defaults, and click Upgrade button.
