Downloading Patches

If you have experienced difficulties registering or upgrading ShareChart or downloading data please download the following five files to the ShareChart folder on your computer (normally C:\Program Files\ShareChart unless you specified otherwise) and perform an online upgrade.

StoReg.exe            UnRegister.exe        DataDownload.exe

StoUpgrade.exe        ServerPatch.wsc

To download one of the above files, follow the steps below.

  1. Click one of the above links, a File Download dialog box will appear. Select Save this file to disk and click the OK button.
  2. A Save As dialog box will appear. Click the Save in dropdown box and select Local Disk (C:).
  3. Double click Program Files then double click ShareChart and then click the Save button.
  4. A confirmation box with a message like C:/Program Files/Sharechart/StoReg.exe already exists. Do you want replace it? will appear. Click the Yes button to replace the old file.

Repeat the above steps to download the other four files
